This is a formulaic way of storing the plot, as a list of questions to determine the things that happen every single episode. There are a few examples below of how a show would fill in these questions. I don't think it will work as the main genotype, because I kept finding ways in which the episode didn't fit this formula very well. Part of the genius of Phineas and Ferb is the way in which the different subplots of a given episode interact with each other throughout the episode, not just at the end when Doof's inator makes Phineas and Ferb's invention disappear before Mom gets home. This would only work for things like the way Perry gets to his lair, which doesn't need to connect too much with the rest of what's going on.
What prompts the boys to decide what they're going to do today?
What are they trying to do?
How does Perry get to his lair? Or disappear? Anything weird about how he's given his mission?
How does Doofenschmirz trap Perry?
What made Doof decide to build his inator?
What inator did he build and what does he hope to accomplish with it?
What is Candace doing besides trying to bust the boys?
What is Mom trying to accomplish for the day?
There are probably several times that Candace tries to show Mom what Phineas and Ferb are doing, but by sheer luck her Mom can't see it even though it's right in front of her face. How do these instances occur?
If Doof's invention fails, what causes that to happen? If it succeeds, in what way does this end up being a problem for him?
What keeps Doof's invention from breaking continuity?
What ends up cleaning up Phineas and Ferb's activities before Mom gets home?
What is the topic of the song?
