The multiple choice part of the exam will be available in the testing center September 26-October 1. This part of the exam is CLOSED BOOK, CLOSED NOTES and will consist of a subset of the quiz questions.

The programming part of the exam will be available in the lab on September 21nd and will be due on September 28 (Section 5) or September 29 (section 1,2). This part of the exam is OPEN BOOK and OPEN NOTES, but you will NOT be able to ask anyone for help on the exam. You can ask the TAs for help on C++ concepts, but the design of the program and the coding must be your own. You will pass off this part of the midterm in the lab with the TAs. The late penalty for this exam is 10 points per day late.
