How do I record people's annotations?

Annotations are delivered to you in the annotationsReceived() method of your AnnotationManager. Where and in what format (text files, database rows, etc) you record those annotations is up to you. One of CCASH's guiding design goals was to avoid constraining instance or annotation data from conforming to any particular format. This gives you a good deal of power and flexibility in representing your data, but it also means that the framework is limited in how much it can do for you.

That being said, if you rely on the FileReadingAnnotationManager, it will take care of writing your annotations to a file in the format specified by your serializer.
